District Parent/Guardian Spring Retreat
The district's Spring Retreat will take place Thursday, March 30th & Friday, March 31st from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm each day. It will be held at the district office at 5115 Dudley Blvd., McClellan, CA. The first 200 parents/guardians to register will be able to participate in a variety of interactive workshops on both days. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Upcoming Book Fair News
Our Spring Book Fair is just around the corner! It will take place from April 3rd to April 7th in the Ridgepoint Library. A preview flyer for this year's book fair can be found here. The book fair will be open everyday before school from 7:30-8:00 am. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday it will be open from 2:42 to 3:30 pm. On Wednesday, the after school hours will be from 12:42 until 2 pm. The Ridgepoint PTA is looking for volunteers for this event. Parents can volunteer online on the Scholastic website. Simply click here.
Additionally, if you can't make it to the book fair or don't like to wait in lines, but still want to get great books, support your child's teacher and the school, you can order books online from March 29th to April 11th. The link will be posted here as soon as it's available. Classroom Wish Lists may also be available to view online. Please remember that all purchases benefit our school!

Common Core Practice Test
Students in Grades 3 thru 8 will be taking the Smarter Balanced test for the first time starting at the end of April. The Smarter Balanced test is the new state test. If you would like to view and try the test, you may by clicking on the following link: Smarter Balance Practice Test (if you have problems accessing the test, you may need to change your web browser).
