Our last box top competition was so successful that we have decided to do it again! The top intermediate and primary classes will earn a pizza party. The competition runs until January 29th.

805 API!

Clapping

The API is a single number, ranging from a low of 200 to a high of 1000, that reflects a school’sperformance level based on the results of statewide testing. Its purpose is to measure the academic performance and growth of schools. Reaching 800 is a goal we have been working towards for years and have at last achieved it thanks to the hardwork of our staff, parents, and students! Congratulations everyone!

WE HAVE NEW TREES!

New Trees
Ridgepoint's old trees were recently removed due to safety concerns. Thanks to the efforts of Mr. McLaughlin and the district, our school has since received new trees and grass seed has been planted. We are all very appreciative for the beautification of our school. Vandalism is a concern. If you notice any suspicious behavior, please notify the Twin Rivers Police Department at (916) 286-4875.

2009-2010 Teacher of the Year

Second grade teacher Kim Poppin has been awarded Ridgepoint's 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Poppin's recognition was due to the high quality education she provides to all of her students and her outgoing caring nature.
