Dear Ridgepoint Families,

    Our state testing for 2nd grade through 6th grade begins on the week of April 26th. Helping your children to get ready now might reduce some of the stress they feel about taking their tests. Some helpful advice, which is good advice for all year, make sure your children are getting a good night's rest, eating healthy, and learning from their mistakes. Going over errors your children make on their homework with them will help them eliminate some future problems. Also, talk to them about the importance of them trying their best all the time.

The API is a single number, ranging from a low of 200 to a high of 1000, that reflects a school’sperformance level based on the results of statewide testing. Its purpose is to measure the academic performance and growth of schools. Reaching 800 is a goal we have been working towards for years and have at last achieved it thanks to the hardwork of our staff, parents, and students! Congratulations everyone!
