Our School Needs Supplies!!

The past few years of budget cuts has made our supply budget extremely small because of this we are asking families, who are able, to donate reams of printer paper and pencils. Please drop donations off in the office. Thank you for any help you can give us!

Pennies for Patients

We have completed our annual Pennies for Patients drive. Students donated over $3,500 in spare change that went towards the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The classes that collected at least $100 were Ms. Terry's, Mrs. Bird/Green, Mrs. Payne, Mrs. Coffelt, Mrs. Chilcote, Miss Franklin, Mr. Highfill, Mrs. Bouve, Mrs. Poppin, Mr. Salter, Ms. Gallegos, Ms. Mayhew, Mrs. Straehle, Mrs. Schmalenberger, Mrs., Thompson, Ms. Michel, and Mrs. Grinager/Russo.  The class that collected the most $ and earned a pizza party was Grinager/Russo. They raised $440.46! Great job everyone!

Clothing Donations Needed

Accidents happen! Because of this, our nurse's office is asking for donations of gently used pants or shorts for boys & girls in all sizes. Also, donations of brand new, unopened packages of underwear for boys & girls in any size would be appreciated.  The most needed sizes of underwear are 5 to 8.  Thank you for your help!

BOX TOPS

Our goal for this year is to collect 20,000 Box Tops! This will earn our school $2,000 and every class a Popsicle party!  Box Tops will be collected by your child's teacher. Please check the bulletin board in the office hallway to see our progress and products that have Box Tops on them.

Here's to a Safe Year

cross walk.jpg

We are all looking forward to a memorable, exciting and SAFE school year! You can help by following a few safety rules when dropping off or picking up your children. To help please:

  • Always walk your children across the street using cross walks and across the parking lot.
  • Be patient
  • Don't double park.
  • Drive slowly around the school, keeping an eye out for children
  • Follow crossing guards' directions
  • Help reinforce Ridgepoint's safety rules
  • Remember it is the law that your children wear a helmet when riding a bicycle, skateboard or scooter.
